Under the Pop Warner mandatory play rule, every player is guaranteed a minimum amount of plays per game. There are no try-outs or roster cuts based on skill. Each participant contributes on the game field and is able to experience the thrill of being in the game.

Pop Warner is the only national youth sports organization that requires its participants to perform adequately in the classroom before permitting them to play. Each year, DRPW’s top academic scholars are eligible to apply to the Pop Warner Little Scholars program which offers academic scholarships to eligible applicants.

Youth football is about so much more than just the game.
