Our New Look
Same Great Community, Renewed Spirit
As we embrace the future of our program, we are proud to announce a new name and bold new look that reflects the diverse and dynamic communities we serve: Del Rancho Toros. This is more than just a name change; it is a recognition of all the communities that makes our league vibrant and strong.
This decision was driven by the desire to better represent the families and athletes who make up our league. While our roots are deeply tied to Rancho Bernardo, our program has grown to encompass neighboring communities, including 4S Ranch, Del Sur, and Black Mountain Ranch. By adopting the name Del Rancho Toros, we honor this shared identity and create a sense of unity for all our players and supporters.
A Nod to Our Heritage
The name "Toros" connects us to the rich history of the land we call home. During the early 1800s, Spanish settlers from Mission San Diego de Alcala grazed livestock in the valleys and hills of what is now 4S Ranch. By the mid-19th century, this land became part of Rancho San Bernardo, a sprawling ranch known for its longhorn cattle.
As a tribute to this heritage, we chose “Toros,” the Spanish word for bulls, to reflect the strength, resilience, and pride of both the land and our players. The new brand embraces these qualities, symbolizing a bold and unified future for our league.
A Fresh Look, Rooted in Tradition
Our new look also introduces updated colors inspired by the University of San Diego, creating a fresh and distinctive identity while maintaining ties to the familiar shades of Rancho Bernardo. This balance honors our past while setting us apart from other WCC programs.

Del Rancho Toros represents a new chapter for our program, one that celebrates the unity and diversity of our communities. We remain committed to providing a safe, enriching environment where young athletes can grow, excel, and build lasting memories.
