2025 The Road to Pop Warner Nationals begins!

 

Competitive cheerleading is when cheer squads compete against each other at organized competition event. At a typical cheerleading competition, teams perform a 2-and-a-half-minute routine with music that includes stunts, jumps, tumbling. Teams are judged by a panel of cheerleading experts on difficulty and execution. Winners are announced in each division and receive a trophy for recognition.

Cheer Competition Season starts in mid-October and may run through January. Competitions are not optional for individuals. If your team registers to participate, the expectation is that all cheerleaders rostered will be in attendance. Each family will be required to review and sign the Competition Acknowledgement Form.

POP WARNER AFFILIATED COMPETITIONS

West Coast Conference Locals Competition

• Sunday, October 12th, 2025

• Location: San Diego Convention Center, 111 Harbor Dr, San Diego, CA 92101

• Teams that place 1st or 2nd will advance and attend WESCON Regional Competition.

​WESCON Regionals Competition

• Sunday, November 16th, 2025

• Location: Anaheim Convention Center, 800 W Katella Ave, Anaheim, CA 92802

• Teams that place 1st or 2nd advance and are expected to attend Pop Warner Nationals.

Pop Warner Nationals

• Early December 8-11, 2025

• Location: Charlotte, North Carolina

• Estimated travel costs: $1,500-$2,000 per cheerleader.

NON-AFFILIATED POP WARNER – JAMZ COMPETITIONS

$ - Competition event costs not included in player registration fees.

JAMZ Bid Challenge $

• Sunday, November 23, 2025

• Location: Anaheim Convention Center, 800 W Katella Ave, Anaheim, CA 92802

• Teams that score a minimum of 70% may advance to JAMZ Youth Nationals.

JAMZ Holiday Showcase $

• Sunday, December 14, 2025

• Location: Anaheim Convention Center, 800 W Katella Ave, Anaheim, CA 92802

• Teams that are unable to attend the JAMZ Bid Challenge, have the option to qualify for JAMZ Youth Nationals by attending this competition.

• Teams that score a minimum of 70% may advance to JAMZ Youth Nationals.

JAMZ Youth Nationals $

• January 23-26, 2026

• Location: Las Vegas, Nevada (The Orleans Hotel)

• Estimated travel costs out of pocket +$500* (2-night hotel + admission. Travel preference not included in estimate)

FUNDRAISING

Teams and athletes are strongly encouraged to fundraise for costs not included in registration fees, such as competition fees, travel, and hotel expenses. Our program offers various fundraising opportunities throughout the season to help reduce these costs. We are always open to new fundraising ideas and team or player sponsorships!
